    Organic Marketing vs. Paid Marketing

in Get Started with Your Forum

There are two types of content marketing your business should be aware of: organic marketing and paid marketing. Understanding the differences and knowing when (and why) to use each is essential to developing a good marketing strategy that your business and its customers can rely on. Here's what you need to know about these two strategies so you can have the right combination for your clients. What is organic marketing? Organic Marketing Organic marketing is exactly what it sounds like. It happens organically and requires no special treatment or reasoning.

Word of mouth advertising, when a customer likes what they get from a company and tells others about it, is organic. It still happens a lot today, but the way it happens is a little different. Most often, this happens through social media and related customer interactions. Additionally, organic marketing occurs when businesses employee data have social media accounts where customers can read about them, find information, and otherwise engage. These companies can post social media profiles and talk about their industry or whatever they want. They can list the sales they have going on at the time or talk about opening a new store.

It's easy to get people to interact that way. It is also important to note that marketing sometimes happens accidentally . Sometimes a business may not even try to advertise, but a customer notices something about them, investigates the company's offerings a bit more, and ends up buying from them. It's completely organic, and the company wasn't trying to sell to that person at the time. The internet has contributed to this happening much more often.
